Llegó el 1er bloque de productos digitales del catálogo de Prince

Legacy Recordings, una división de Sony Music Entertainment, está lanzando su primer bloque de productos digitales del catálogo de Prince hoy 17 de agosto.

La primera ola de títulos del catálogo de Prince que serán lanzados a través de un contrato exclusivo que se firmó en el mes de junio entre SME y The Prince Estate enfocado en el periodo que va de 1995 a 2010, una época crucial en la historia de Prince. 23 títulos de colección del catálogo de Prince (muchos de ellos difíciles de encontrar o descatalogados) y Prince Anthology: 1995-2010 (una antología nueva de 37 temas esenciales de la era) están ahora disponibles en todos los servicios de streaming y proveedores de servicio digital.

Muchos de estos álbumes, largamente buscados entre sus fans y coleccionistas, ahora están disponibles por primera vez en streaming y descarga, agregando más de 300 temas esenciales de Prince al catálogo en línea del artista.

Para Prince, 1995 – 2010 fue un periodo sin precedentes de una prolífica creatividad sin límites. Lanzando grabaciones frescas constantemente a través de una variedad de estrategias de distribución, incluyendo su propia línea NPG Music Club, Prince estaba creando la más provocativa, experimental y emotiva música de su carrera. Libre de las demandas y expectativas de los grandes sellos, Prince era libre de escribir, grabar y lanzar su música bajo sus propios términos.
